Objective:
1. Complete a Vocabulary and reading assessment.
2. Write an essay prompt for essay #3.
Bellwork:
Write down both objectives. What is one thing you learned about Shakespearean tragedy so far this quarter?
Agenda:
1. Log into School City, using the icon on your computer and your TUSD login information. Complete the assessment labeled RR_AZ_ELA_Grade11-12_L.4d 16-17_FormA .
2. Log into Achieve 3000 if you have not finished the reading assessment. Complete the assessment. Use your matric and matric as your username and password.
3. Log into Synergy. Check your grade and chat with Mrs. Walker if you believe it is wrong or are missing assignments. Also Check your attendance. Remember that 10+ absences = NEED AN APPEAL FORM Turned in by 12/15!!
4. Make sure your blog is set up and has the required GH pages. Come see me if you need help.

Objective: Research the format and parts of an argumentative essay, in order to write a strong claim.
Bellwork: What does hubris mean? Give an example of hubris in today’s world or your world and write a possible thesis statement using the definition and your opinion about hubris in today's world.
Assignments:
1. Post on a "new post" on your blog 4-5 questions regarding argumentative essay writing, creating a claim, and counterarguments.
You need to be able to log into your gmail to access the online copy of the Evidence Chart.
6. COMPLETE THE CLOSURE HERE FOR CREDIT FOR TODAY's work : CLOSURE.

2. Spend no more than 45 minutes conducting research on the internet to find information that answers your questions! You may use websites that are academic in nature. This means wikipedia, ask.com, any wiki site, yahoo asks, etc are NOT permitted.
3. Write a short 100 word reflection on what you discovered during your research and your research process. This must be POSTED on your blog underneath your questions.
4. Add the websites you used to your Works Cited page on your blog. Make sure you are using MLA style citation. (You may use an MLA citation generator or Microsoft Word's citation generator. Use these options: Citation Machine or Ref Me.) Or do a google search for citation
